This course expands on students’ basic knowledge of Portuguese, with the introduction of new vocabulary and more complex tenses, such as Present Subjunctive. Conversation practice will be emphasized during the classes, with role plays and a variety of games used by instructor Márcia de Jesus to make students learn in a fun environment. Márcia has a BA in Language Teaching form the Mackenzie University in São Paulo and has been teaching Portuguese for foreigners in Washington, DC, since 2008.
