Liz DeRoche is an award winning musician! From her earliest memories of improvising at the piano in a small town just south of Portland, Oregon to seeking musical adventures abroad, the self-taught, techno geekess with a flair for being atypical, has always preferred the not-so-clear path. She has performed in festivals, state fairs, punk clubs, churches and mainstream rock venues across North America. Liz comfortably inhabits her own sound somewhere between eclectic electronica and soulful pop. For her latest project she has been performing throughout the DC metro area as The Singing Lizard. She's just released her debut album "AlphaBeat" which includes fun, original songs as well as the children songs we all know and love infused with a fresh new sound. Liz believes music is the key to true joy and is passionate about creating songs that both kids and adults enjoy.
